Rome is one of the oldest cities on earth. There are many architectural monuments that are admirable. Some of them are in very good condition, others unfortunately not. However, when planning your holiday, it’s worth having the city on the list of places to visit. Rome arouses a lot of emotions.
It is a huge city, where the echo of ancient times is reflected. One of the places that reminds us of the former power of Rome is the Colosseum, which is famous all over the world. This ancient amphitheatre evokes a lot of emotions.
While exploring Rome, the Pantheon is worth visiting. It is a round temple built for gods. It is located on the martian square. From the Pantheon you can go in the direction of the Trevi Fountain. In Rome there is also a bronze monument showing the figure of Mark Aurelius on a horse. The listed attractions are just a few of the most important places to see.
To be able to see all these attractions in the first place we have to drive from Ciampino airport to the center of Rome. Below you will find our proven and cheapest way to get to the city center.
Arrival from Ciampino airport to the city centre
After landing we go to the car park in front of the hall, from where ATRAL will depart. Tickets are purchased directly from the driver at a cost of 1.20 EUR.
By bus we go to the subway A ANAGNINA. Here we buy a 100-minute ticket (cost 1.50 EUR), which enables us to travel one metro metro and any number of over-the-counter trips. Remember that you can switch to the second line of the TERMINI subway station and continue your journey on the same ticket.
You can, of course, use taxi or a private carrier, but the prices will be much higher and you are not always sure that you will get on the bus, despite the ticket you have bought.
